Tuya / Smart Life Lighting

Tuya-ecosystem bulbs — Feit and other brands, once paired into the Smart Life app — become native Crestron Home lights, with plugs, fans, shades and sensors as their own Crestron types. Each light offers exactly what the bulb can do, and control stays on the local network.

One driver per site covers every Smart Life device; nothing per bulb, and no Tuya credentials on the processor. Valethon licenses include processor binding, 14-day offline grace, and heartbeat through the Valethon platform. A license is for this driver only.

What you get

  • Native Crestron Home Lights: on/off, brightness, colour temperature and colour, each only where the bulb supports it
  • Scene fade times and the Circadian scene, with fades run on the local network next to the bulb
  • Programming in plain terms: pick a colour or a white by name, type a #RRGGBB hex value, or set Kelvin and percent
  • Changes made at the wall, in Smart Life or from another controller show in Crestron Home and trigger the same programming
  • Linked once by scanning a QR code in the Smart Life app; devices are found on the network automatically
  • Plugs, fans, shades and sensors pair as their own Crestron device types

What you need

  • A Valethon ServiceOS account and Valethon Connect on the site network
  • Devices paired into the Smart Life app
  • Crestron Home processor (CP4-R / MC4-R)
