One Valethon driver per site exposes live and forecast weather as Crestron Home Quick Action values and configurable tiles. Commercial mode uses a licensed Valethon WeatherKit gateway so Apple credentials never sit in the PKG. Advanced BYO WeatherKit is commissioned entirely in Crestron Home Setup.

Third-party weather drivers typically split data, logic, and display across multiple paid modules and still need a cloud key on every processor. Commissioning is entirely in Crestron Home Setup after you paste the emailed vcd_… key — there is no Valethon weather settings screen.

Commercial installations talk to Valethon. Valethon’s WeatherKit .p8 never leaves the platform.
Optional BYO WeatherKit
Paste Team ID, Service ID, Key ID, and .p8 in Crestron Home Setup. Those values stay on the processor.
